What better way to cool off on a hot Saturday afternoon than a water fight! On Saturday, July 11th 2009 at Lumberman’s Arch in Stanley Park hundreds of people of all ages came out to participate in the 3rd annual Vancouver’s Largest Waterfight. This water splashing event was organized on Facebook and quickly became one of the most popular flash-mobs in Vancouver. Although I did arrive at the battle field over two hours late, there were still tons of people with water guns out to play. Just moments after I stepped onto the playing field a bucket of ice cold water was poured over my head by a random stranger. Sadly I didn’t get many pictures because I quickly put my camera in a Ziploc bag and seek revenge! Join the facebook group for photos and info on next year’s event. I’ll be sure to come on time
